Advanced Lesson, week 3

Since I was unable to convert the required filter (Pool Shadow) so it would be usable in my PSP, I finally chose to do an older Advanced lesson - the double mask. I'm using the artwork of Mr. Jim Warren. I'll keep trying to figure a way to do the elegant frame that needed that filter, too! *grins*

Beginner's Lesson

Name 1 thing...
This was extremely easy to do. The bonus here, was it taught me a new trick in saving gif's in Animation Shop with the result of NO 'jaggy's'! Thanks for a fun. fast tutorial that will really help improve my gifs!

Intermediate Lesson

Destiny in frame 1
I'm not one who has been captured by the 'frame bug,' but I sure do welcome the way to show off my first grandchild! *grins* (But for the record, I hate the title of "Grandma"!) Destiny is learning to recognize 'Grammy' by sight and sound - and just accomplished the difficult task of rolling over all by herself! *chuckles* She did that yesterday, btw - February 22, 2003 - on my birthday. (2012: Destiny will be 10 in just a few days, and yes, she does call me "Grammy"!! I also have LOADS more grandkids now, too. My son is engaged to a woman who had nine children [not a typo] and they recently had their first child together - so a total of 10 for her, 1 for my son, and Destiny is now a big sister, too. Which brings my total to 12 grandchildren!)

Advanced Lesson, week 4

Last week's advanced - after several reboot's, I was able to get the filter to work for me - yea!

Not real sure if I'm happy with the results of this one, yet - although the technique was quite interesting to learn. And I've seen some stunning samples in the list!

I decided to try the tutorial again, with a different image - a desktop image from the series "Charmed," since it happens to be one of my favorite shows! (And I loved this one, where Phoebe became a mermaid! *winks*) I'm much more pleased with the results, using this image! What do you think?
