The official start of the Halloween Haunted Web-Trail 2012 began with fun for all ages; there were plenty of haunted houses to explore, a few neat treats to savor, and of course, some amusing games to play. This latest stop seemed, well, boring, in comparison to some of the other sites visited.

Each of the previous haunted houses had rooms filled with ghosts and goblins popping out from the dark, or tasty recipes to try, or even renditions of the favored Edgar Allen Poe poem, “The Raven” to read. After touring all of the previous haunts, seeing the lone witch, jack o’lantern and ghostly sign here, was a real let down.

But, wanting to give all of the sites on the tour a chance, it’s decided a quick, cursory walk-through can be done, so we walk up to the door.
