Arghh 2.0

So, I’ve watched a shit load of TV. Arrow, the Glitch, the Flash, Black Mirror, and a couple of movies on Netflix, as well as a few – that I ended up writing reviews for, too – on Amazon Prime. Only nine more days till this years NaNoWriMo begins and I haven’t been writing, again.

I don’t know why, either. Told my daughter, I’ve just been feeling ‘blah’. Again, don’t know why. But, I can say it began when I was re-watching Sons of Anarchy. It hit me around season five, I think, and I felt it take my head into a real dark place… which I mentioned in a much earlier post. I thought I had gotten past it, began reading again. *sighs* One error filled book after another, all author requested reads after another which frustrated the holy hell out of me and ended up putting me off of reading even more. And as you know, in order to keep up with your craft, you need to read, read, read and read more.

I’m not dreaming, either. I usually have very clear, colorful lucid dreams. Honestly, it’s where I meet my characters and learn more about them. I suppose I could be dreaming and not remembering them, but I actually don’t think so. I feel tight, congested… like there is a total blockage in my creativity line cause I’m just not feeling a thing. And it shows in my every day life as well as ways to release my creativity. I know the ‘juices’ haven’t dried up. They just aren’t flowing.

I don’t know what to do.

I’m so outtie….

dammit

Gotta get back to writing but some bad luck issues are draining me. Literally. So, I got this huge power bill, been running AC so its kind of expected, right? But, I didn’t own anything in August – maybe a buck or two cause I typically overpay, so didn’t bother to make any kind of payment then. Figured I’d wait to start building credit with the company until winter usage… well, apparently they didn’t email me my actual August bill, cause last month I was hit with over $300! Way higher than typical for me, during my heaviest usage summer months my biggest bill is still less than $200 by a good degree… so that was issue number one, had to put a $300 charge on a credit card I’ve been working to pay down. My girls need their Sentinel, which will be roughly a $125 charge for three months of meds for them… *sighs* Expected, but still.

So, yesterday (actually this was Thursday) I wake up late again, as usual lately, and head into the den all blurry eyed, ready for my caffeine IV and email… and I see what looks like a dribble-pee spot in front of the door. I turn the lights on and then it hits me, I can also hear a distinctive drip-drip-drip sound… and water is steadily dripping from my ceiling. The corner of the ceiling is hanging lower, water is pouring down my door, and the wall has two huge wrinkly sections. Sight unseen, I diagnose problems with my hot water tank, which is housed in my attic. Poor Stevie is living her worst nightmare, it’s raining in the house! I put in a “911” call to Dingy, cause she’s my ‘go-to-gal’ for any issues, and they plan to head my way. I turned the lights off, to be safe – the ceiling fan-light is in the middle of the room and it doesn’t look like the ceiling is wet all the way to it, but better safe than sorry, right?

Went outside front door – den door is like sealed shut – to go grab mail and see it’s like raining cats and dogs – under my carport. So that’s where the majority of the water is escaping. My driveway is soaked, too, like after a typical Georgia thirty to sixty minute torrential downpour. Bought a wet/dry vac and repair stuff, plus put $15 in the kids gas tank, so the repair cost me a hair under $100. Have the attic stair down still so attic can finish drying – which worries/concerns both dogs. Last night I finally realized the reason the fan was so freakin’ loud was because it was set on high, so turned it down and I can hear myself think again. Although honestly, I’ve been freezing because the fan blowing on the wet wall and floor has created a swamp-cooler and is keeping my house under 70 degrees. I keep it at 75, winter and summer, so yeah, I’ve been freezing. Girls love it. *laughs*

Before anyone points out the repair for under $100 is actually quite good, however… I still haven’t replaced the messed up section on the ceiling or the drywall on the walls or purchased paint to repaint the messed up walls and ceiling, yet.

My DVD towers are on the opposite side of the room while my La-z-boy chair and bookcase are in my living room. The girls are very upset by this, although Luna is being her usual stoic self albeit a tad needier wanting to climb up into my lap when I sit down at my desktop PC. Stevie is refusing to walk by the attic ladder and off her food; she also went into my bedroom yesterday and hopped up on the bed – and acted too afraid to jump back off herself. She was ‘stuck’ in there for like six hours! The dork. Add to all this and I’m having a few issues with the bank controlling two of my accounts… for the Amazon account, they say any amount I pay before the due date will not be applied to the amount due, yet hadn’t told me when my due date was… I made a payment and they later sent me an email that I owed a $5 payment – by this time, my disability check was used up, so they added a $35 late fee and some other unexplained $11  fee saying I owed them $51 to catch up!

So yeah. No writing right now. I’m fucking depressed. I’m so outtie….

Astrology…

So I popped into Facebook for a minute, before heading to bed, and saw an Astrology Answers advert. I figure why not, let me see what it has to say – and moaned when I saw who the astrologer was. *sighs* Not that he’s bad or anything, but when I had checked into him before he spammed the hell out of me trying to get me to purchase readings, etc. So I’ll have to make sure to unsubscribe pretty quickly – you subscribe to his spam by getting your first ‘free’ reading. Anyhow, I was looking at the webpage and under the heading of ‘luck’, it had this to say:

Your golden number is 4, your lucky number par excellence. Use the number 4 as often as you can: for example, when you set up an important meeting, insist on the 4th day of the month, or 4 o’clock in the afternoon; when you take a train, get in the 4th car. Use it whenever you play games etc.

If you have premonitory dreams – and you should! – 8 is your most auspicious number. It’s also lucky for travel and in financial matters.

And 17, your number for happiness, can also be used to combat misfortune.

Use a combination of these three numbers as often as you can. Luck will do many things for you, and your intuition will do the rest.

I’ve never felt an affinity to those numbers, so wanted to make note of them – hence this post.

That’s about all; got quite a bit of homework done, still have plenty left to do, but I’m heading to bed as soon as the girls are ready to come in.

Niters, I am so outtie….

Okay, then

So for some reason a post I wrote last Monday got sent to ‘drafts,’ so I republished it and it’s in the wrong place now. Sorta. I mean, it was a Monday and Monday Part 2 post so the part 2 one is by itself… grrrr… any-hubers, I ended up staying up all night working on my domains blog’s. Scribes Canvas has the fictitious serial killer’s old posts back again [yay!] and all posts have been titled/categorized. Fictive Designs is currently a blog themed site, until I have time to make the graphics and stuff to actually create the site. And, as I mentioned in an earlier post, this site got 312 of its old, old posts back – that’s covering sporadic posting from roughly 2000-2012 or 2013, so now all I’ve lost is the last couple of years postings. Not as depressing.

So, I’m currently titling and categorizing all of those old posts cause they went into my ‘Writing’ category by default; I created a new category just for those posts. Moving them is time consuming! I finally fell asleep on the couch around 8:30 this morning and officially rolled off the couch [coffee was calling me] around 1:30, so I got about 5 hours of sleep.

**EDIT** Been working on the titling/categorizing posts for several hours already, only have 115 to go! Woo-hoo! That means I’ve completed around 200 and it is tiring work….

Back to work so I’m outtie….

Paranoid, much?

I did a couple of posts Monday; one was written shortly after midnight, the other was written late evening before midnight, Tuesday. I checked a couple of things on Facebook – for that second post, then closed my browsers down after posting was published. Now, I don’t always bother to shut my browser down, will often leave my posted blog page up, or occasionally I’ll leave DailyKos up and running. But, the Kos site ends up causing havoc with my browser, creating issues concerning a long-running script. I’ve had the same issues with Facebook in the past; add that fact in to my rarely using the social media site, is the reason why I don’t leave the site open on my browser. Actually, the main page I tend to leave running is Google.

So why, when I woke my monitor up this morning, was my Facebook page open?

Why did my Outlook program open with errors, which is a typical response when incorrectly closed on last use?

Why did both of these things happen the day after Mommy Dearest unblocked me on Facebook?

Why did this happen the day after Joe said his mother told him about relationship issues and he needs to ‘talk’ to S?

Ya know, it’s not really paranoia when someone really is out to do you harm, and Mommy Dearest has made it no secret that I am on her shit list….

Back to homework, still have a lot to read before I begin the writing portion… so I am so outtie….

Hercules

As I mentioned earlier this morning, I was unable to sleep so put Hercules on. It has a 6.1 rating via IMDB.com; I liked it. Didn’t fall asleep to it as I had intended, it hooked me. I liked the silly humor running throughout, similar to the type seen in Johnson’s The Rundown. He’s not afraid to look silly on the screen and I appreciate that in an actor!

John Hurt was his usual awesome self portraying Lord Cotys, and a lot of the silly humor came from some one-liner’s delivered by Rufus Sewell in his portrayal of Autolycus [especially as he predicted his own death]. Ian McShane gave his normal terrific portrayal of Amphiaraus; Joseph Fiennes was easily recognizable [by me, at least] playing the part of King Eurystheus. Just like older brother Ralph Fiennes, he has an intensity that transcends the screen which can be heard in terrific voice command and seen in facial movements and intense stare. Both of these actors are able to send out a creepy level of malice [in a good way, they are unbelievable actors!] similar to Anthony Hopkins.

Ack, gotta run, have things to do so I am so outtie….

insomnia

*sighs* I was exhausted and laid down to sleep three hours ago. I think I might have dozed off for about 20-minutes, and now…. wide awake. And I have a headache.

Got some of my school reading done, still have more to do. Logged in and saw some posts already done for this week! Sheesh. Tried to play Clash of Clans with my strongest account, got womped every friggin’ battle and lost around 200 trophies. Shitty day. Rainy and humid as all get out. Made a damn good dinner – Joe’s is still sitting on the counter, he never touched it. Tired of wasting food. Tired of being treated like my home is his flop house. Like I said, shitty day.

Got Hercules on. I like Dwayne Johnson. Headache is lessening, gonna try to sleep again so I am so outtie….
